  • Nearby Soweto provides powerful historical insight and remains one of the region’s most meaningful visitor experiences.
Graskop
  • Perched on the edge of the Drakensberg Escarpment, the charming forestry town of Graskop serves as the gateway to the renowned Panorama Route. Once a gold-mining camp, today it is a scenic base for exploring nearby natural wonders including the Blyde River Canyon and Bourke's Luck Potholes.
  • The surrounding region is dotted with spectacular waterfalls and lush forest scenery.

Kruger National Park
  • The southern sector of Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Here, the Crocodile River marks the boundary between cultivated farmland and untamed bushveld.
  • This wildlife-rich region — often called the “Southern Circle” — is particularly renowned for frequent sightings of rhino and lion, offering exceptional Big Five viewing opportunities.

Kingdom of Eswatini (Swaziland)
  • The mountainous Eswatini offers a deeply authentic cultural experience. Within the beautiful Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary — set in the aptly named Valley of Heaven — visitors encounter rolling plains, granite peaks, and abundant birdlife.
  • The nearby Ezulwini Valley is well known for its traditional craft markets and cultural attractions.

Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park

Nature reserves in the region protect diverse flora and fauna, while ancient San rock art sites provide a glimpse into the area’s deep human history. The legendary Sani Pass — South Africa’s highest mountain pass — delivers breathtaking high-altitude views into Lesotho.
Addo Elephant National Park
  • As South Africa’s third-largest national park, Addo Elephant National Park is famed for its large elephant herds and diverse ecosystems.
  • The park protects an impressive range of wildlife including lion, buffalo, black rhino, leopard, and over 400 bird species. Uniquely, Addo forms part of the world’s only “Big 7” conservation area, which also includes marine giants found along the nearby Algoa Bay coastline.

Victoria Falls
  • The town of Victoria Falls serves as the gateway to the legendary Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya — “The Smoke That Thunders.”
  • Approximately two-thirds of the falls are visible from the Zimbabwean side.
