IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Highlights of the Journey
Windhoek
  • Namibia’s capital city serves as the cultural, political, and economic heart of the country. Well positioned near the centre of Namibia, Windhoek provides an ideal gateway for safari travellers.
  • The city is known for its clean streets, relaxed atmosphere, and blend of African and German influences. Visitors can enjoy local markets, museums, and traditional German-style pubs before venturing into the country’s vast wilderness.

Sossusvlei

  • Sossusvlei is one of Namibia’s most iconic desert destinations, famed for its towering red sand dunes — among the highest in the world. Fed by the Tsauchab River, the area offers dramatic desert scenery and exceptional photographic opportunities.
  • The surrounding landscapes within the Namib-Naukluft National Park create a striking contrast of colour, light, and scale.

Swakopmund

  • Set along Namibia’s Atlantic coastline, Swakopmund is a charming seaside town with strong German colonial heritage. Wide sandy beaches, historic architecture, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere make it a favourite stop on any Namibian journey.
  • The town is also known as the country’s adventure hub, offering a wide range of optional activities including sandboarding, quad biking, and scenic flights.

Etosha National Park
  • One of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations, Etosha National Park is centred around a vast salt pan visible from space. The park supports large populations of elephant, lion, rhino, and numerous antelope species.

  • Game drives here offer excellent wildlife viewing, particularly around the park’s famous waterholes.

Namib-Naukluft National Park
  • Among the largest protected areas in Africa, Namib-Naukluft National Park showcases some of the continent’s most dramatic desert scenery.

  • Rolling dunes, rugged mountains, and unique desert-adapted wildlife define this remarkable wilderness region.

Okavango Delta

  • The Okavango Delta in Botswana is one of the world’s most unique inland wetland systems. Formed where the Okavango River fans out into the Kalahari sands, the delta creates a lush oasis of channels, islands, and floodplains.

  • Exploring this region by traditional mokoro canoe and game vehicle provides exceptional wildlife and birdlife encounters.

Makgadikgadi Pans

  • The Makgadikgadi Pans offer a striking contrast to the delta’s waterways. These vast salt flats — remnants of an ancient lake — create one of the flattest and most surreal landscapes on earth.

  • Seasonal rains transform parts of the area, attracting migratory wildlife and large flocks of flamingos.

Chobe National Park
  • Chobe National Park is renowned for hosting one of Africa’s largest elephant populations.

  • Game viewing here takes place both by vehicle and boat along the Chobe River, offering outstanding photographic opportunities and close-up wildlife encounters.

Hwange National Park

  • Zimbabwe’s largest national park, Hwange is celebrated for its diverse habitats and abundant wildlife. Large herds of elephant and buffalo roam the park, alongside predators such as lion and leopard.

  • The park’s waterholes provide excellent viewing, particularly during the dry season.

Victoria Falls
  • The journey concludes at the spectacular Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. Nearly two kilometres wide and over 100 metres high, the falls create an unforgettable display of power and beauty.

  • Guests stay within easy reach of the falls, allowing time to explore the various viewpoints and optional adventure activities available in the area.
