Highlights of the Journey
Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park is famous for hosting one of Africa’s largest elephant populations, estimated at over 50,000 animals. Located in northeastern Botswana along the Chobe River, the park features four distinct ecosystems:

  • Serondela riverfront.
  • Savuti Channel.
  • Linyanti Swamps.
  • Arid hinterland

This habitat diversity supports an impressive range of wildlife including lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and abundant plains game. River cruises here are among the finest wildlife viewing experiences in Africa.

Kazuma Forest Reserve
  • Situated within the greater Chobe ecosystem, Kazuma Forest Reserve offers an unspoiled wilderness experience across vast grasslands, mopane woodland, and natural pans.
  • The reserve lies within an important elephant corridor and supports wildlife such as buffalo, sable, giraffe, zebra, lion, and leopard. Bird enthusiasts will appreciate the more than 380 recorded species in the area.

Okavango Delta
  • The pristine Okavango Delta is one of Africa’s most extraordinary ecosystems. This inland delta supports large concentrations of elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, lion, cheetah, leopard, and numerous antelope species.
  • Birdlife is prolific year-round, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers alike.

Khwai River Area
  • The Khwai region lies along the northern boundary of the renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Because the boundary is unfenced, wildlife moves freely between habitats seasonally.

As a private concession, Khwai allows activities not always permitted in national parks, including:

  • Walking safaris.
  • Night drives.
  • Off-road game viewing.

Greater Moremi Game Reserve

Located in the eastern Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve covers over 4,871 km² of diverse Botswana wilderness, including savannah, forests, and winding waterways.

This rich ecosystem supports:

  • Large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, and zebra.
  • Rare sitatunga and lechwe.
  • Lion, cheetah, and African wild dog.
  • Extensive birdlife (over 550 species recorded nationally).

Victoria Falls
  • Often called the greatest waterfall on Earth, Victoria Falls stretches nearly two kilometres across the Zambezi River. During peak flow, immense spray columns rise high above the gorge as vast volumes of water plunge over the edge.
  • Your centrally located lodge allows easy access to the Falls and the many adventure activities available in the surrounding town.
