Following arrival in Hoedspruit, guests transfer to their lodge to begin an unforgettable stay in one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. The journey combines authentic bush experiences with the rich natural heritage that defines the Greater Kruger ecosystem.

Highlights of the Journey
Karongwe Private Game Reserve
- Situated in South Africa’s Limpopo Province, Karongwe Private Game Reserve spans approximately 9,000 hectares of unspoilt wilderness. The reserve is recognised for its scenic riverine landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and strong Big Five viewing opportunities.
- Positioned between four river systems, the reserve supports abundant flora, varied wildlife, and prolific birdlife. One of its notable attractions is the opportunity to encounter the Big Five — elephant, lion, leopard, African buffalo, and rhinoceros — with particularly favourable sightings of the elusive leopard.
- The reserve also serves as a convenient gateway to the nearby Kruger National Park, located approximately 45 minutes away. Guests can look forward to activities such as day and night game drives, guided walking safaris, and cultural bush experiences.

- One beverage per person during sunset safaris (choice of local beer, wine, or soft drink).
